Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for a Pensions Project Analyst to join our vibrant Administration Projects Team (APT) with hybrid working attached to any of our XPS office locations. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a pure pensions administration role, or pensions project role where they have gained knowledge and experience of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
As a Pensions Project Analyst with XPS you will:
1. Support Senior Project Analysts and Project Consultants to undertake project work; ensuring delivery in line with project deadlines and client expectations.
2. Updating relevant pension administration databases and systems
3. Performing basic calculations
4. Running automated systems extracts.
5. Data Manipulation
6. Reviewing Member Records
7. Working closely with other departments/teams to ensure project delivery
8. Ensuring the accurate updating of time recording system for both chargeable and non-chargeable activities and meeting required utilisation target
9. Due to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities.
Your profile
Essential Criteria
1. Previous experience in a similar Pensions Project role or within BAU Pensions Administration.
2. Previous Defined Benefit pensions experience.
3. Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent.
4. Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word.
5. Excellent organisational and planning skills.
6. Ability to work in advance of deadlines and prioritising multiple tasks.
7. Able to see projects/tasks through to completion within given timescales.
8. Willingness to learn.
9. Able to follow instructions, procedures, policies and assimilate information quickly in a consistent manner.
10. Able to take ownership and responsibility for own work.
11. Enthusiastic, positive and flexible approach to work.
12. Effective interpersonal skills.
13. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required to perform the duties - both numerical and written.
14. Good oral and written communication skills.
15. An active listener and able to follow through on instructions given.
16. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
17. Good Problem-Solving Skills.
