Responsibilities: Lead and manage the full sales cycle for Karbone's subscription-based data products and bespoke research engagements within UK and European markets. Energy transition markets include power and capacity trading, energy attribute certificate markets, as well as biofuels and clean fuels trade and investment. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to attract and secure new clients. Maximize existing relationships with capital allocators, financial institutions, corporate strategics and relevant government and public society stakeholders. Actively represent Karbone at industry events, conferences, and other forums to establish a strong market presence, build relationships with key market participants, and identify new business opportunities. Engage with regulatory bodies, third-party media, and industry players to enhance the company's profile and influence. Provide feedback on product offerings and contribute to the development of the research and data suite by identifying market trends and client needs. Ensure seamless collaboration with the US-based team to align on strategies, share insights, and optimize sales outcomes. Qualifications: 4–7 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in the renewable energy, environmental markets, or related commodities sector. Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with experience establishing revenue streams in new markets. Ability to independently manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals and ongoing account management. Strong knowledge or interest in global commodity pricing, renewable energy, and environmental products. Exceptional written, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Willingness to travel as necessary to attend client meetings and industry events.
