Role Title: Van Leasing Consultant, Office-based
Main Purpose of Role
The Van Leasing Consultant is a sales-based role, primarily responsible for managing incoming customer enquiries/leads. This role responds to customer enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service and appropriate information regarding their enquiry. The role has a direct impact on Sales Team performance and thus on the success of the business.
Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management – Being the face of the business, this role is critical to building a positive first impression for customers. The Van Leasing Consultant is responsible for managing customers through their leasing ‘journey’ and ensuring they are supported throughout the sales process and treated fairly in line with the Select ‘DRIVE’ values.
2. Day-to-day management of Sales leads/enquiries – Respond to new leads and manage existing customers by adhering to Sales processes and best practices. Ensure all systems are updated accordingly and customers are provided with clear information regarding their enquiry.
3. Performance Measures – Ensure on track and on top of daily tasks/activities. Adopt the right behaviours to achieve success.
4. Support the Head of Sales and wider management.
5. Regular feedback and communication with the Sales Manager regarding own performance.
6. Assist with Complaints Resolution.
Communication
Ensure appropriate information is communicated clearly to customers and communicate regularly with the manager regarding own performance.
Reporting
Able to provide clear reporting on own Sales performance to the Sales Manager to ensure Sales targets are being achieved.
Relationship Management
Support in the effective management of relationships with key suppliers and partners, and internal relationship management between teams/departments.
Compliance
1. Ensure awareness of and remain up to date in terms of Compliance – Completing all e-learning and/or any other applicable training as requested.
2. Have a clear understanding of FCA Guidelines – Takes accountability.
3. Complaints – Able to identify and raise/log complaints as required.
4. Identify potential business risks and be proactive in seeking resolution.
Health & Safety
Support the Select Car Leasing Health & Safety Policy. Escalate Health & Safety issues to the H&S Manager and/or Directors.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Experience (technical, industry, managerial)
1. Experience working within the Van Leasing Industry/Motor industry (desirable)
2. Experience working within a busy Sales Team
3. Experience of Sales processes and systems
4. Experience of Compliance (desirable - specific to industry)
