Key Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities. Support students with their learning and personal development. Help create a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued. Collaborate with staff to implement tailored learning plans for students, including those with additional needs. Supervise children during playtime and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs. Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will have prior school-based or childcare experience, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment. You should possess strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children. An understanding of various teaching methodologies and a willingness to adapt to the individual needs of students will also be beneficial. Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) to work in schools in Wales. Experience in a primary education setting is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
