Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Role/ Key responsibilities
12. Monitor and record progress and provide feedback to teachers, SENCOs and parents
13. Commitment to safeguarding protocols
14. Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs
15. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in teaching methods
16. Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
17. Aid in educational development
18. Ability to identify issues in pupils learning
19. Work closely with class teachers to implement individual education plans and adapt lessons to meet student needs
20. Learning Support Assistant
21. Providing 1:1 & classroom support to KS1 pupils with SEN
22. Tailoring 1:1 & small group support around EHCP
Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Essential requirements
23. SEND experience
24. Previous work experience in a school
25. A caring and patient approach with strong communication skills
26. Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with a range of learning difficulties
27. Located in Liverpool
28. Paid £450 per week during term time only
29. Full time role
30. Remainder of academic year – Usual school working hours
31. Right to work in the UK
32. Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
