MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES What will you be doing on the apprenticeship? As a Junior Production Coordinator Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, from concept to reaching the audience, in TV/Audio or content for online. Skills may include preparing for shoots or live radio studios, coordinating transport, booking kit and crews, issuing information via ‘call sheets’, assisting with budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You’ll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning on the job at the BBC and off the job with our education provider. The academic study involves workshops, tutorial sessions, presentations, and group work. You will gather a portfolio of evidence and work on an End Point Assessment for a level 4 apprenticeship qualification. Where could the role take you? On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you can apply for roles such as Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary, or Production Coordinator within and outside of the BBC. A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PLACEMENT BBC Audio - Music Radio The production teams create and deliver over 100 hours of original audio daily across platforms like Radio 1, 1Xtra, and Radio 4.
