We are delighted to offer a role on behalf of a trust of schools which is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a trust of primary schools in the Macclesfield and Congleton area. This role provides a rewarding chance to support young learners, helping them develop confidence, engage in their learning, and reach their full potential in a nurturing school environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support student learning and maintain a well-structured classroom environment. Responsibilities may include providing one-on-one support to children who need extra help, assisting with classroom activities, and contributing to a nurturing and engaging learning atmosphere for pupils of all abilities.
About the Role:
* Create a safe and supportive learning environment for one-on-one and small group sessions within the classroom and school activities.
* Assist the teacher with classroom tasks and activities, helping to bring the curriculum to life.
* Provide encouragement and tailored support, enabling children to achieve their personal learning goals.
* Promote the mission and values of the school daily.
Person Specification:
* Previous experience working with children is essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* A caring and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
* Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
* Ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills in a classroom setting.
