We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have passion, drive, and enthusiasm to support and ensure their students receive the best possible education experience.\n\nYou will have a proven track record in alternative education settings and a strong understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role involves delivering high-quality education tailored to the unique needs of students with SEND, within a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
You will have an ability to deliver lessons that accommodate a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. You will have experience in working with teams of support professionals to ensure every student is supported to achieve their academic milestones.\n\nStrong communication skills are a must, as is an ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic success. In return, we will support you in a career that can offer opportunities, professional development, excitement, challenges, and a chance to learn and work with other talented individuals.\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:\n\nCertificate of education or PGCE.\nCurrent and valid industry specialism.\nAssessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).\nMinimum Level 3 occupational qualification.\nEnglish and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.\nSignificant Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.\nProven track record of high-quality teaching in delivering subject specialism.\nPrevious experience of working with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies.\nExperience working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs and EHCPs.
