The Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an award winning business, delivering sustainable solutions for the transport infrastructure in the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously or have a Certificate of Technical Education in the field (level 3 up). Responsibilities: Examine structures and equipment within buildings or plants. Identify and report any defects, ensuring all issues are documented and addressed. Conduct checks in line with regulatory and safety requirements. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs. Follow detailed risk assessments for all tasks. Ensure procedures are followed to maintain safety and compliance. Supervise and coordinate scheduled servicing of equipment. Oversee the resolution of breakdowns, minimizing production disruption. Maintain, repair, and assemble electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues. Responds promptly to production breakdown. Diagnose root cause of issues and take swift action to resolve them. Manage plant modifications to improve efficiency or compliance. Perform calibration and adjustments of instrumentation to maintain accuracy. Work with equipment such as pedestal drill machines, grinders, welding tools Assist in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment across various business unitsSkills and Experience Experience in similar role previously is highly desirable or Certificate of Technical Education in the field (level 3 up). Ideally has 5 years post qualification Strong knowledge of both legislative checks and experience keeping record of these Team player Must have previous experience of maintenance and carrying out repairs of Electrical/ Control equipment Strong problem solving understanding PLC and controlled equipmentThis is a ideal role for someone who has experience but is looking to continue growing their experience in a successful company who also offer personal / professional development.
