About Prestige Nursing & Care Norwich
Here at Prestige Nursing & Care Norwich, the most important factor in everything we do is that the people we support and our staff team are happy and safe. We are a friendly and supportive team with quality at the forefront of everything we do, and most importantly, we care as much as you.
What our client is looking for
We are looking for reliable, caring, and professional Children’s Support Workers to assist our active and fun-loving young female client. This will be after school (1430 – 2200) during school holidays and weekends. Our client enjoys swimming, dancing, days out to the Zoo, and being out and about loving life! You will be working 2:1 supporting our client at home and in the community with all aspects of daily living, including personal care. You will have a number of shadow shifts and person-specific training sessions to provide you with the skills and confidence you need to provide person-centred support.
Do you need experience?
Experience of supporting children with complex behavioural needs and knowledge of Norfolk Steps/PBS is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided. Due to the nature of the role, paid UK care experience within the last 6 months is preferred. However, we will consider applicants with other experience, such as children support work.
In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake Enhanced DBS/PVG, Right to Work, Reference, and Employment History checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
While we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible, due to the nature of these important checks, there may be an extension to timelines.
All our clients are equally entitled to have their needs met in a safe, fair, and balanced way. Prestige Nursing & Care colleagues are responsible for promoting Equal Opportunities for all and for challenging any behaviour or practice that discriminates against any client or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, identity, or any other perceived difference.
You may be asked to provide your employment details through HMRC.
