With strong leadership skills, expertise in project management methodologies, and ability to drive process improvement, this role plays a crucial role in delivering efficiency, consistency, and excellence in project execution across the organization. The Director, Project Management Office (PMO) strives towards fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on achieving operational excellence. What you'll be doing Key Responsibilities: Ensures project management standards within the business. Designs and develops best practices, processes, and policies related to project management. O versees the prioritization of projects according to business objectives, organizes projects into a portfolio and develops governance processes. Provides guidance on tools, measurement strategies, surveys, and scorecards. Di rects the strategic processes that the business uses in order to make them as effective and repeatable as possible. Fosters strong working relationships across business areas and / or geographies. Manages and executes all stages of highly strategic internal projects. Identifies and communicates critical project risks to senior leadership. Performs due diligence on potential new strategic projects and / or programs. Allocates resources within negotiated project budgets and timelines. Implements repeatable process methodologies to achieve strategic business objectives. Facilitates team building and group collaboration and provides feedback and coaching to less experienced PMO team members. Helps teams confront challenges and performs conflict management. Makes strategic and data-based decisions as required. Knowledge and Attributes: Detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Significant understanding of project management methodologies and processes. Significant understanding of the organization's vision, goals and industry context. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in project management or Business or Information Technology or a related field. Relevant Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Required Experience: Significant experience in project management in a cross-business area capacity. Significant Project Management experience including high complexity, cross business area projects. Significant experience using with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Significant experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and schedules. Significant experience managing the entire project lifecycle.
