Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of students in a KS3 / KS4 with additional needs in a specialised secondary school, including working with children with SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health) and Challenging Behaviours. You will work closely with the classroom teacher and fellow TA's/ Learning Support Assistants to ensure the students gain the support they need to succeed.
The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, five days a week. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be expected to start after the Easter Holidays 2025.
Pay ranges from £90 - £110 a day, based on your experience and qualifications. There is also the possibility of a permanent contract for the right person, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position in a supportive and dynamic environment.

1. Experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. A willingness to work flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting students with additional needs, including SEMH / Challenging Behaviour.
2. Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation.
3. Creating engaging and interactive learning activities.
4. Encouraging students to develop their social skills and build positive relationships.
5. Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
