Part Time Finance Assistant
£14-£17ph, Knaresborough, flexible hours, friendly working environment, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
We are currently looking for a confident Finance Assistant to work in this well-established company based in Knaresborough. We will consider both full and part-time hours for the right candidate but will ideally have experience using Xero accounting software.
Finance Administrator Responsibilities:
* Processing invoices and purchase orders
* Debt recovery
* Uploading receipts to Xero
* Processing expenses and claims
* Processing time sheets for the accountant
* Maintaining accurate cost centre recording
This Finance Administrator role would suit someone who has worked in the following areas: sales ledger, accounts assistant, finance assistant, or has worked at a higher level in accounts but is now looking for a step down. If you are looking for the first step in your finance career and have previous experience processing invoices, training can be provided. The start and finish times can be flexible if required, but standard hours would be 8.30am - 5:00pm.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a finance or accounts team preferred
* AAT qualifications preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* IT proficiency
* A good head for numbers and attention to detail
* Strong administration skills
