Join us as a Financial Control & Reporting Manager, Group Centre
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery and integrity of monthly financial information, including balance sheet, profit and loss reporting and budget and forecasting activity for Group Centre, along with specific external disclosures
We’ll look to you to proactively establish and maintain strong working relationships with key partners, customers and stakeholders across Finance

What you'll do
As a Financial Control & Reporting Manager, you’ll ensure the integrity of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. This will include the balance sheet, profit and loss account, internal and external reporting, and other supporting data while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and consider the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
You'll deliver actuals reporting to the Director of Financial Control and work with stakeholders across Finance to set the annual Group Centre budget and deliver the monthly rolling forecast updates. You'll also support and delegate for the Financial Controller as required.
Through the course of your work, you’ll:
Help deliver the strategy and embed the operating model for financial control, with the overriding objective of establishing and maintaining trust and confidence of customers and stakeholders
Collaborate with other Finance teams to ensure timely financial close and onward internal and external reporting
Provide clear and accurate analytical review and challenge
Lead and drive continuous improvement that supports the strategic direction
Provide input to key accounting judgements
Lead on budgeting activity for Group Centre including stress testing and related activity
Lead for Finance on pension accounting and collaborate with other Finance teams, internal actuaries and other specialists
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring previous financial control experience, preferably gained in a financial services environment. You’ll have worked in a global business and hold an accounting qualification such as ACCA or ICAS.
