Job Description
C&G Plastering Ltd is expanding its team and is in search of skilled Quantity Surveyors who are ambitious, competent and excited about delivering quality construction projects. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing the costs and commercial aspects of new build residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that projects are completed within budget, to a high-quality standard and within the project timeframe.

Ideally you will have drylining subcontractor experience, with the confidence and proven ability to independently secure tenders, negotiate effectively and manage projects through to completion. Whilst a degree & NVQ (or equivalent) is welcomed, it's your ambition, work ethic and personable nature that will truly set you apart and ensure you are the right person to join our hard-working and sociable team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs, preparing bill of quantities (BOQ), ensuring effective cost management and efficiency across each project. You will be expected to provide regular cost reports to management and play a key role in maintaining budgetary control from tender through to completion. It is a varied, hands on role with genuine scope for responsibility and growth.

Requirements
* Experience in Cost Control and Cost Management
* Proficiency in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & commercial reports
* Monitor and manage Risk and Opportunities of the projects, whilst being reliable and trustworthy performing in our ever-changing & challenging industry
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in the construction industry
* Sound organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Solid commercial acumen and industry knowledge of Approved Systems is preferred. (All Training can be provided)
* Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
* Driving license is ideal
* Visiting projects via car and/or train
