Join our team as we embark on a new partnership with Via, the primary provider of Drug and Alcohol services across Gloucestershire, offering substance misuse support and interventions. We’re looking for passionate individuals dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those struggling with substance misuse and their families.
The service will be embedded within the established Gloucester Women’s Centre, providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment for women and families. The Nelson Trust offers a safe space and one stop shop for women to access women’s support, family support and aftercare, and to engage in therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
The Family Therapist is a key role in our structured family support service, focusing on intensive, holistic support and family therapy for families dealing with substance misuse. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of gender-responsive, trauma-informed holistic support to women and families with substance misuse and multiple unmet needs, enhance positive outcomes, prevent family breakdown, and address intergenerational cycles of trauma, abuse, neglect, substance misuse, and offending.
If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of women and families and excited about being part of a new drug and alcohol recovery service in Gloucestershire, apply now to join the Nelson Trust. Together, we can support families to overcome challenges, build resilience and thrive.
