Senior Site Investigation Engineer

Job Description:
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Site Investigation Engineer to join the national ground investigation team based in Leeds. The national team provides ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy services to a broad range of private and public sector clients.
You will be responsible for managing geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, largely in the north of England and at some sites across the UK. The role also includes managing site works of larger value sites across the UK.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing site works of varying size across a large range of environments.
2. Logging of soil and rock to BS5930.
3. Supervision of site works, groundwater, and ground gas monitoring.
4. Producing clear, concise factual reports.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Geology or similar.
2. Extensive experience of ground investigation.
3. Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental management as applied to ground investigation.
4. Full, clean driving licence.
It would be advantageous to the role if you are security cleared, experienced with the Openground suite of software, trained in SMSTS, and have a solid understanding of Health and Safety documentation and project finances.
