Job Description: A well-established law firm in Wales is seeking an experienced Litigation Locum to join their team on a maternity cover basis from May.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research and gather evidence to support cases.
2. Prepare legal documents like court papers and agreements.
3. Represent clients in court hearings and trials.
4. Negotiate settlements or resolve disputes outside of court.
5. Keep clients updated on the progress of their case.
6. Prepare witnesses for court.
7. Manage case deadlines and paperwork.
8. Advise clients on the risks and outcomes of the case.
Requirements:
1. Qualified solicitor with significant experience in litigation work.
2. Excellent communication and client care skills.
3. Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
