Here's what you'll be doing
We are seeking a dynamic Partnerships & Sponsorships Consultant to join E.ON UK on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of sponsorship agreements. Key responsibilities include coordinating sponsorship asset activation, integrating these initiatives into broader marketing strategies, and assisting in the development and execution of our sponsorship strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
You will also track and evaluate sponsorship performance, preparing reports for senior management and providing insights for future activities. Budget management, ensuring brand alignment, and compliance with agreements are essential aspects of the role. Additionally, you will bring new ideas and approaches to the team by staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Management:
o Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments (e.g., marketing, communications, sustainability, operations) to ensure alignment and collaboration on sponsorship activities.
o Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including sponsorship partners, agencies, and vendors, to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship agreements.
2. Sponsorship Activation:
o Coordinate and oversee the activation of sponsorship assets, ensuring that all activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
o Work closely with internal teams to integrate sponsorship initiatives into broader marketing and communication strategies.
3. Strategy Development and Execution:
o Assist in the development of E.ON UK's sponsorship strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance brand visibility and engagement through strategic partnerships.
o Execute sponsorship plans, including planning events, promotions, and other activations that maximize the value of E.ON’s sponsorship investments.
4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
o Track and evaluate the performance of sponsorship activities, using key metrics to assess the impact and return on investment.
o Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for future sponsorship activities.
5. Budget Management:
o Manage appropriate sponsorship budgets, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and deliver maximum value.
6. Brand Alignment and Compliance:
o Ensure all sponsorship activities are consistent with E.ON UK's brand values and guidelines.
o Monitor compliance with all sponsorship agreements, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise.
7. Innovation and Improvement:
o Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in sponsorship and marketing, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.
o Continuously seek ways to improve sponsorship processes and outcomes.
What we need from you
1. Project Management: Skilled in planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals.
2. Communications planning and delivery in a sponsorship environment: Proven track record of delivery within a rights holder or brand-side environment.
3. Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
4. Strategic Thinking: Capability to contribute to the development and execution of long-term sponsorship strategies.
5. Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
6. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
