We are looking to recruit experienced LOLER Inspectors to complement our ongoing and expanding contract commitments in the UK North Sea. Duties and Responsibilities: To carry out statutory thorough examinations on lifting equipment in accordance with relevant legislative standards, CAN procedures and client procedures where applicable To report on the condition of all inspected items using the CAN Lifting Equipment Database in a clear and concise manner, ensuring all details are correct. To formally report all defects found in a timely manner at the end of each shift or where the defect poses an immediate danger, report immediately verbally then formally Carry out load testing of lifting equipment when required Carry out NDT on lifting equipment components and report on the condition Report any safety issues/ incidents, conflicts or major defects found on critical equipment Skills, Knowledge, Aptitude, Training and Experience Required: Thorough knowledge of the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 and LEEA guidelines Relevant LEEA certification Mechanical aptitude and previous experience in a similar role NDT Qualifications - Level II (PCN or ASNT) IRATA Rope Access Offshore Medical and Survival Must be able to liaise and communicate with on-site client representatives politely and in professional manner Job reference number 6B1355 Please be aware, all applications are subject to the CAN Job Applicant Privacy Notice (available on our website)
