The Project Coordinator (Delivery) reports into the Head of Delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the safe provision of specific activities with strict adherence to the appropriate regulatory and license obligations for the electricity distribution network, Investment, Connections, Operations & Maintenance.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering district business plan outputs in line with financial, regulatory, and business plan objectives whilst optimising return through incentive mechanisms.
2. Facilitating business deliverables in line with district and licence plans to minimise outages to customers.
3. Ensuring efficient and effective delivery of performance targets, such as Customer Minutes Lost, Customer Interruptions, Broad Measure of Customer Satisfaction, Guaranteed Standards, Time to Connect, and other incentive mechanisms.
4. Driving continual performance improvement through analysis of outputs and feedback from internal and external sources.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Promoting an exemplary safety culture and ensuring that all safety legislation is implemented and delivered through all activities.
* Delivering maintenance and reliability, system performance, and network security business plan outputs.
* Delivering a portfolio of capital investment projects and associated regulatory outputs.
What you’ll bring:
* Project/programme coordination experience.
* Knowledge of the regulatory environment including relevant output and incentive mechanisms.
* General contract, commercial, and regulatory awareness.
* Effective stakeholder and customer service engagement and management.
* Ability to communicate and present information effectively at all levels.
* Ability to manage competing priorities using sound engineering and financial judgement.
* Awareness and understanding of key business drivers and the external commercial context.
* Ability to devise solutions to problems/challenges.
* Working knowledge of Construction and maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
As a minimum, you will demonstrate:
* A crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a project delivery role.
* Relevant network construction and operational experience.
* Computer literacy.
* Current driving licence.
