Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to younger adults in need. Your role will make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable service users.
Some of your Duties may include:
1. Provide support to younger adults in developing their independent skills
2. Support service users in attending healthcare and professional appointments
3. Assist with grocery and meal preparation
4. Manage challenging behaviour
5. Help service users with completing domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry
6. Provide emotional support to service users
Qualifications:
1. Level 3 or above in working with children and young people
2. Team teach training or related challenging behaviour training
3. Ability to work with individuals of all ages up to age 16
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and external bodies
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
6. Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others
7. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
8. Experience with Ofsted inspection
9. Valid driver's license is desirable
