Job Title: Maintenance Carpenter Hours: 37 per week Location : Herefordshire Salary: Hoople Band C £25,826 - £32,446 per annum Contract: Permanent Closing Date: 25th February 2025 Interview Date: 4th March 2025 Hoople Group are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Carpenter to join our Building Maintenance Team in Herefordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a varied and rewarding role within a professional and supportive environment. Working across a diverse range of settings—including offices, museums, libraries, and shopping centres—you will carry out both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities: Conduct repairs and maintenance on flooring, windows, doors, and lighting Install tiles and refurbish washrooms Perform locksmith duties and assemble furniture Undertake minor plumbing, gutter repairs, and other general maintenance Assist with pothole filling, painting, gutter cleaning, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) inspections This role offers variety and challenge, ensuring no two days are the same. Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (plus Level 2 in Plumbing or another relevant maintenance qualification) Experience in Facilities Management or as a multi-skilled tradesperson Strong background in general property maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and flooring Full UK driving licence Excellent problem-solving skills and a professional, approachable attitude Desirable Qualifications: Fire Door Inspection certification IPAF and PASMA qualifications Why Join Hoople Group?
