Creative Support are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Support Coordinator to join our established and creative team. We are a person centred and national organisation that provides care and support to people with a variety of needs such as learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and mental health needs. We are looking for an individual who has experience managing teams across a supported living environment.
As a Support Coordinator you will assist the Senior Service Manager in the operational management of high quality supported living services that support individuals with learning disabilities and or autism. You will also assist in the management of supported living services that are responsive to the needs and preferences of our tenants with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autistic spectrum disorders and other complex needs and their families. You will ensure that all contract requirements are met for the services. You will be confident and experienced in supporting people who have learning disabilities with daily living tasks and facilitating activities to promote independence. No two days will ever be the same with our service users, from arts and craft days to family day trips and gardening. You must be observant, emotionally intelligent and have excellent leadership skills. Relevant experience and qualifications (such as QCF 3/5) are required, as are excellent communication skills and a good general standard of education.
We are recruiting one full time position (37.5 hours).
