Band 4 - Nursing Associate - Full Time - Permanent (Multiple Vacancies)
This role is looking for individuals who are currently undertaking the Nursing Associate Apprenticeship Programme or those who have qualified and are registered with the NMC as a Nursing Associate.
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) is building a new Mental Health Inpatient Service in Chertsey, Surrey.
Silverwood will contain four adult inpatient wards and is due to open in Autumn 2024. Our ambition is to transform inpatient mental healthcare for our local population.
The new unit will provide 64 beds all with single ensuite bedrooms, two lounges and a dedicated garden for each ward, as well as a woodland area for supervised walks.
For our colleagues working here, there will be access to kitchenettes, a lounge, and a dedicated garden. There will also be an education suite with state-of-the-art digital equipment.
This role is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to be part of a new service providing excellent care to our patients within a state-of-the-art facility. You will work with experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are developing new ways of working and want you to be part of the team who will provide effective assessment, treatment, and high-quality care to our patients.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, participating in the provision of on-going assessments, care planning, treatment and support of people with serious and enduring mental health problems and people in crisis.
