Job summary The postholder will be the key subject matter expert on NHS EPRR as well as UK government best practice and best practice/ standards applicable to business continuity. Excellent communication and planning skills are required and the postholder will be expected to brief senior management and executive directors regarding their (and the organisation's) responsibilities regarding EPRR. The postholder will be expected to develop innovative new ways of addressing issues and threats affecting the Trust's resilience and the continuity of service provision. Training and exercising will also be a major responsibility - training senior on call staff in terms of the national occupational standards and NHS England's EPRR commander's portfolio and the development of exercises, scenarios and tests to thoroughly exercising emergency and business continuity plans at all levels of the organisation.
