Role Overview
The Senior Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing competitive bids for clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors. This role involves analysing project specifications, collaborating with various departmental functions, and developing strong relationships with clients and suppliers to foster future tender success and new client opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably with a background in water or gas sectors.

Knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts.

Ability to 'take off' from design drawings, interpret specifications, and prepare Bills of Quantities.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in estimating software or aptitude to learn.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
