Level 2 Teaching Assistant Location: Lincoln Start Date: ASAP Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day (Depending on Experience) Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Full-Time / Part-Time Are you a dedicated and motivated individual with experience as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant ? GSL Education are looking for a reliable and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in a well-established school in Lincoln. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for supporting students’ academic and personal development, and who enjoys creating a positive and engaging learning environment. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students in their learning. You will help create an inclusive classroom where all students can thrive and reach their full potential. Responsibilities: Provide classroom support to the teacher in delivering lessons across different subjects. Assist students with their learning, providing one-to-one and small group support as needed. Encourage students to engage in classroom activities and develop independent learning skills. Support students in adapting resources and activities to meet their individual needs. Monitor student progress and assist in recording and reporting on students' achievements. Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Provide support during class activities, ensuring students are safe and engaged. Help students with behavioural issues by providing positive reinforcement and encouraging positive behaviour. Contribute to the overall school community, working collaboratively with teachers and staff. Level 2 Teaching Assistant Requirements: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Previous experience as a Level 2 Teaching assistant or in a similar role is essential. A degree in Education, Psychology or a relevant field. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents. Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to working with students. Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and meet students' individual needs. A proactive approach to supporting students’ learning and development.
