We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team in a dynamic role that offers the freedom to design and engineer innovative solutions akin to top-tier Automotive/motorsport environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of design engineering projects at both component and assembly levels, collaborating with senior engineers and management.
* Lead end-to-end project delivery, including manufacture, build, testing, racing, fault analysis, and resolution.
* Pursue engineering problem-solving, ensuring effective solutions are implemented throughout production.
* Contribute to workshop car build, preparation, and fabrication as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
* Travel to events as required, varying based on project needs.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or a related field.
* Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing technologies, with composites and electrical engineering expertise highly desirable.
* Proficiency in basic stress calculations and ability to interpret stress analysis results.
* Advanced CAD skills, with experience in SolidWorks advantageous.
* Data analysis skills preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
* A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent attention to detail, and methodical work practices.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a friendly and collaborative outlook.
