Facilities : They strive to deliver world class patient care and their fantastic facilities provide a superb care environment, including 13 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres, full advanced imaging suite, 3 ultrasound rooms, an endoscopy suite, hydrotherapy pool and treadmills and dedicated chemo & radio-iodine treatment rooms define the setting.
Role :
1. Triaging emergency cases
2. Inpatient care - including physiotherapy and bladder management.
3. Nursing clinics to include -Post operative consultations including creating physio plans, client support clinics, discharges following hospitalisation and general client updates.
4. Monitoring anaesthesia and sedations for procedures including MRIs, CTs and other advanced imaging.
5. Attending clinical rounds and handovers.
6. Assisting with consults.
7. Preparing internal and external lab samples.
8. This is a fixed term contract position working on average 38hrs per week the contract is due to end in April 2025.
Hours : The shift pattern comprises a 4 day working week, 8:30am-6:00pm 3 days per week and 9:30am-7:00pm 1 day per week. There is a 1:6 weekend rota, and on-call approximately 1 night in every 8 weeks which is paid as overtime if called out.
Applicant Requirements :
9. Qualified RVN with current RCVS registration
10. Excellent communication skills

14. Willingness to learn and develop skills
15. Previous experience within a neurology discipline and/or referral hospital would be beneficial
Salary : £29,450 pro-rata DOE
