We are currently recruiting an administration and underwriting assistant for our City based client who is going through a sustained period of growth due to the success of the business.
This exciting and varied opportunity reports to the CEO of a small team and will involve supporting in all matters relating to the smooth running of this Insurance MGA. Providing high-level support of the underwriting insurance portfolio business including a daily underwriting review of submissions to ensure all data capture is accurate and up to date.
The role would suit someone prepared to work towards insurance related qualification (i.e. ACII, CPCU).
Key requirements are that you are:
1. Numerate and accurate with strong attention to detail.
2. Personable, able to build relationships with the London Underwriting and Broker community.
3. Interested to build knowledge of the MGA territories and products.
4. Able to effectively communicate with internal and external teams.
5. Good organisational and analytical skills with an ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality.
6. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, as well as good experience with spreadsheets and database processing programs.
