About the Role:
The PWR team at Teaching Personnel is partnering with an alternative provision in Greater Manchester to find an experienced Construction Teacher. This role involves delivering construction education to students in Years 10-13, engaging them in both group and 1-1 settings. This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who can adapt lessons to meet a wide range of student needs and who is passionate about helping students develop practical and vocational skills.

This alternative provision supports young people aged 9-18 who benefit from a flexible, customized educational approach. Students attend for various reasons, including SEMH needs, low attendance, or challenges in mainstream settings. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, hands-on construction lessons to students in Years 10-13
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles
Support students’ academic progress and vocational skills development
Foster a safe and productive learning environment for all students
Requirements:
Relevant teaching qualification and/or construction industry experience
Proven ability to teach construction skills to secondary and post-16 students
Experience working with students who may have additional learning or SEMH needs is preferred
Strong communication and classroom management skills
