First Subsea, based in Lancaster and part of the First Tech Group, has transitioned from oil and gas projects to offshore renewables projects where we supply bespoke and patented products, such as lifting and recovery tools, and cable protection systems. All our products are designed, assembled, and tested in-house, and we have recently opened a dedicated manufacturing & production facility for our cable protection systems.

The Role?
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, based in Lancaster on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Project Manager, you will actively manage, coordinate, and plan individual contracts, using the necessary skills required to deliver customer needs while controlling the financial, technical, and commercial aspects of the contract, managing client expectations, and company resources.
The successful candidate will hold extensive experience in Project Management with a proven track record of managing multiple successful projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Actively manage individual projects from commencement to close, including the management of financial, technical, and commercial aspects of the contract.
* Responsible for the successful integration of all mechanical design activities, procurement, milestone completion, and client supplier meetings.
* Ensure technical requirements and scope of supply are defined in the contract and incorporated as engineering deliverables.
* Manage and maintain project schedules as required.
* Manage the Project P&L, reviewing and updating monthly cost reports as necessary.
* Manage project risk matrices.
* Oversee all contractual requirements such as VO's / Extensions.
* Carry out tasks in accordance with the company's HSEQ Management System while identifying additional health and safety requirements of clients.
* Facilitate communication across the business to ensure project deliverables are met.
* Coordinate design reviews as necessary.
* Assist in cost control and forecasting activities.
* Generate documentation in alignment with the company's Quality Management System, liaising with Document Control as required.
* Assist with other duties as required.
Your Qualifications & Experience?
Essential
* Extensive experience within a Project Management environment.
* Project Management degree and/or relevant experience.
* Proficient user of MS Office programs, including extensive experience in Microsoft Project.
