Company Description
An Ofsted Registered children's homes based throughout the North West specialising in therapeutic care. We are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Manager to manage our new home, which will care and support up to 2 young people.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Children's Residential Home Manager. The Children's Residential Home Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment for children, implementing individual care plans, and supervising staff. The Children's Residential Home Manager will work closely with social workers, local authorities, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality care for residents.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Residential Care home manager or in a related role
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and safeguarding practices
* Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
* Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, local authorities, and external professionals
* Able to remain calm under pressure, handle challenging situations, and make sound decisions
* Passionate about working with children and young people, and committed to their care and wellbeing
* A degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications
