Registered General Nurse Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team in the healthcare sector. As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a clinical setting. This is a temporary position with full-time hours, offering a competitive salary range of £23 - £26 per hour. Job Duties: Conducting patient assessments and developing individualised care plans Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the medical team Assisting with medical procedures and examinations Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration Proven experience working as a Registered General Nurse Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills Education: Completion of a recognised nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree in Nursing) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered General Nurse Knowledge and Skills: Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing practises Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficient in using medical equipment and technology Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications: Specialist training or certification in a specific area of nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Paediatrics, Mental Health) Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification Working Conditions: The role of a Registered General Nurse may require working shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
