We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our vibrant language department in Stockton-on-Tees. Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential to teach Key Stage 5).
2. Inspire and motivate students to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
3. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a dynamic, diverse French curriculum.
5. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
6. Participate in school activities and help promote the importance of languages within the school community.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in French, Modern Languages, or a related subject.
2. Experience teaching French at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the French language and culture.
4. Ability to inspire students and build their confidence in language learning.
5. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
6. Enthusiastic, student-centred, and committed to making a positive difference.
