An exciting vacancy opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with an interest in developing their Critical Care skills.
The purpose-built Critical Care Unit in Bronglais General Hospital is looking for a Band 5 Nurse.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants will be fully supported whilst gaining experience in the care of critically ill patients undergoing a variety of critical care interventions. Following orientation and completion of relevant competencies, staff will have the opportunity to access university based post-graduate course.
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate some knowledge of Critical Care Nursing, but this is not essential and have a willingness to develop their skills further, playing an integral part in integrating critical care across Bronglais.
The applicants should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence-based practice and be proactive in managing change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
