Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, with the ability to educate and inspire young athletes. This role involves developing gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.
Duties
1. Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to various skill levels.
2. Teach fundamental gymnastics techniques.
3. Assess the progress of each gymnast and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
4. Create a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring proper use of equipment.
5. Assist in organising and running competitions, holiday sessions and other club events.
6. Assist with the mentoring of our coaching team.
7. Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among participants.
8. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
Experience
1. Previous experience in gymnastics coaching is essential. Level 2 qualification or above essential.
2. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety standards.
3. Judging and/or First Aid qualifications desirable but not essential.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate athletes of all ages.
5. A positive attitude with a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 38 per week
