As the result of a well-deserved internal promotion, we're recruiting for an Operations Manager to head up our Cosy Clubs Midlands patch!
Our Cosy Club Operations Managers play a pivotal role in the success of our business. Working alongside an Operations Chef, you will manage an area of c.8 sites maximum, remaining close to our teams and our customers every day. Your team will be your absolute number one priority, spotting amazing talent, celebrating success, and creating a real buzz and a sense of belonging for our team, plus developing great managers and leaders through training, coaching, and mentoring. We're about unrelenting standards, and our ultimate goal is that everyone feels welcome and leaves happy!
For this role, we are looking for someone based in the Midlands who can easily access each of the eight current sites in the patch: Birmingham Bennetts Hill, Birmingham Brindley Place, Cheltenham, Coventry, Derby, Hereford, Leicester, and Worcester.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
* Ensuring the culture of our Cosy Clubbers is welcoming, fun, and vibrant, creating a home from home for our customers and team.
* Finding great talent to join your Cosy Clubs at all levels, focusing on building a high-performing and loyal team of Cosy HODs.
* Working alongside your management teams to understand each local community and create strong sales plans.
* Developing your management/leadership team through clear development plans and opportunities for skill progression.
* Planning and executing 14 great shifts across every site daily, ensuring the right people are on the right shifts.
* Delivering on our unique Loungers' Commitments, including fair rotas and regular 121 conversations.
* Frequently visiting your sites to engage with service, train, and coach kitchen teams.
* Managing all operational aspects for your Cosy Clubs while being close to the detail of your sites, people, customers, and community.
* Working shoulder to shoulder with your teams, participating in service during busy times.
* Delivering on Ops Manager expectations, ensuring rotas are submitted on time and stock takes completed.
* Feeding new ideas into how we can improve every day, challenging processes that hinder great experiences.
* Working in partnership with your Ops Chef to ensure alignment on priorities for your sites.
* Reporting daily on all aspects of site performance, including P&Ls and team management.
* Delivering on key performance indicators, from customer wait times to Net Promoter Scores and EBITDA.
Where are you now?
* You are likely an Operations Manager or Area/Regional Manager in bars or restaurants with fresh food and wet-led experience.
* You will have multi-site hospitality experience across bars, restaurants, or cafes.
* You balance your time between managing and engaging with the team, delivering outstanding hospitality.
* You have been in senior leadership positions in a large turnover single site or multi-site capacity.
* You are familiar with managing through clear KPIs and making commercial decisions.
* Your ambition keeps you driven and focused on improvement.
* You understand the importance of detail and managing competing priorities.
