Job Title: Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Manager
Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

What You’ll be doing:
As part of the Electrical engineering team that reports to the Principal Electrical Design Manager, you’ll work collaboratively with multi-discipline engineering teams. You’ll assist the electrical design manager in the delivery of projects from inception to completion through the development of the RIBA design stages, providing effective design solutions through the interpretation of design briefs.
Taking direction from the Principal Electrical Design Manager for design tasks, program, and priority, you’ll support senior engineers in producing documentation such as Statements of Requirements (SOR’s) and ensure the design process meets relevant legislation and regulations.
This is a comprehensive role offering insight and exposure to electrical systems including lighting, small power, and LV distribution across Portsmouth Naval Base.
You’ll Have:
You’ll have obtained a Degree / HNC / Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, along with experience or exposure in a relevant industry. You’ll possess electrical system competency such as lighting, small power, and LV distribution, and have proven stakeholder management, project lifecycle delivery, and design focus on various projects.
