Teacher of Computing
Malbank School and Sixth Form College is looking for an outstanding teacher to support and expand our computing curriculum. This is a full time position on a permanent contract.

• Engaging Curriculum: At Key Stage 3, all students study IT twice over a two-week timetable, preparing them for the challenges of Key Stage 4. At KS4, students can choose between GCSE Computer Science or the OCR Creative iMedia course. We also offer A-Level Computer Science and vocational computing qualifications.
• Professional Growth: We believe in fostering professional development and offer continuous support for our staff. You will be encouraged to attend relevant training courses and receive one period per fortnight dedicated to personal development in addition to your non-contact time.
• A Collaborative Environment: The department is dedicated to sharing good practice, supporting each other, and encouraging innovative ideas. Every member’s input is valued, and opportunities for additional responsibilities across the school are available.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a fully or newly qualified teacher who:
• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner.
• Can teach across the full age and ability range, with the ability to contribute to the teaching of IT and/or Computer Science up to A Level.
• Be prepared to help run computing clubs and intervention sessions
• Works effectively with colleagues to ensure quality delivery.
• Brings innovative ideas and contributes to the development of engaging and exciting learning experiences for students.
• Is actively supportive of our department’s culture and values.
