Taxi Licensing Team Leader Role Profile
The Taxi Licensing team has a vacancy for a Taxi Licensing Team Leader. We are excited to offer this new post, having day-to-day operational and management responsibilities for the provision of safe and compliant Taxi Licensing functions. This post holder will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of taxi licensing and ensuring licences are issued in a timely fashion to a high standard.
We are looking for someone with demonstrable knowledge and experience in taxi licensing, ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, with eligibility for membership of the Institute of Licensing. Excellent communication skills are required to liaise with senior managers, members, and the taxi trade, including presenting complex reports to the taxi committee. The post holder should be experienced in staff supervision, performance management, writing and updating policy, and investigating complex cases.
