This role is to join an established building services design consultancy who cover a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres.

Responsibilities:

1. Involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning through to design, supervision, and completion.
2. Developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with the client's brief.
3. Carrying out the detailed electrical services design and calculations using HevaComp, Amtech, IES, Dialux and/or similar design software tools.
4. Production/writing of electrical specifications, schedules, reports, and technical papers.
5. Representing the business alone or attending with a more senior engineer to develop your experience at a wide range of meetings from client, design team, and site.

Experience & Qualifications:
1. Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering preferred, although not essential.
2. Design experience in Electrical building design systems.
3. Confident user of a range of software such as Amtech, Dialux or Relux.
4. Chartered status preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for continued learning and development is beneficial.
