Hays are partnering with a reputable public service organisation to recruit for 2x Clerical Officers to assist with the administration/production of all products in an accurate and efficient manner whilst providing a high level of customer service. These are temporary positions until November 2024.
Your new role
* Address queries about various products and assist with replacements for lost, stolen, or faulty products.
* Maintain and update customer information, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Safeguard sensitive customer information in compliance with data protection regulations.
* Manage and update product statuses, including hot listing lost cards and clearing redundant ones.
* Calculate and process quotations for new and renewal product applications.
* Manage ticketing income, process payments, and ensure secure storage of customer banking details.
* Reconcile financial records and assist with refunds in line with company policies.
* Resolve escalated and duplicate applications to prevent fraudulent activities.
* Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum of 1 year's experience of working on databases.
* Experience of working in a customer service environment.
* Minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths.
* Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
