We are on the lookout for 4 Visitor Centre Tour Guides with bundles of energy and enthusiasm to join our team. This is a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to deliver excellent customer experiences and impart a wealth of history and stories in a truly unique venue in Faversham. If you are friendly, adaptable and have a confident manner; this may be just the job for you.
This is a part-time role where the hours are flexible to lead our tours throughout the week. The exact hours of work will vary from week to week and can include evenings and weekends so availability at these times and the ability to work on a flexible basis are essential.

12. Working Hours: Full-time, hours per week, spread over Monday - Sunday, including evenings. Actual working hours will vary due to the nature of the role and will be confirmed in advance.
The Ideal Candidate:
13. Experience in conducting guided tours and sharing knowledge of historical landmarks
14. Excellent communication and customer service skills
15. A deep appreciation for the history and culture of the brewery and its surrounding area
16. Sales skills to promote the brewery's products and services
17. Ability to work well in a team and independently
18. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
19. Demonstrable experience in hospitality, tourism or relevant field
Duties & Responsibilities
20. Prepare The Brewery for all tours, including but not limited to topping up leaflet andinformation stands, tidying bar areas, setting out function rooms, replenishingbottle coolers, preparing teas, coffees and light refreshments
21. Assist with cellar work as required
22. Serve in shop and assisting with shopstocking, tidying, and ordering as required
23. Assist with bookings and administrationas required
24. Prepare Visitor Centre and bar inaccordance with checklists – these will be amended from time to time
25. Show groups around following tour routeand script - pay particular attention to anything likely to be of specialinterest to the group and any recent awards/innovations
26. Answer visitors' questions as fully asyou use of additionalinformation sheets, news releases and other publications provided from time totime
27. Lead groups through tutored tasting andserve at bar as required
28. Close down Visitor Centre and bar inaccordance with checklists – these will be amended from time to time
29. Provide feedback from visitors to VisitorCentre Manager
30. Help with special functions at thebrewery as and when required
31. From time to time, assist at outsideevents
32. Carry out Visitor Centre Assistants’duties as required
33. Fulfil any otherduties reasonably requested by Visitor Centre Manager, Senior TourGuides or Visitor Centre Coordinators
