Be a friendly face and a helping hand, accompanying our customers to appointments, ensuring they have the support they need, when they need it. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, bringing together your skills to create a supportive and nurturing environment for our customers. Document and share the progress, keeping accurate records that contribute to the well-being and support of our customers. Experience in care or support roles, with a keen understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments, and confidentiality. Empathy and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries, paired with the resilience to manage challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and encourage others with patience and understanding. Flexibility to work on a 24-hour rota basis, accommodating the varying needs of our customers with a readiness to adapt. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion. Work pattern is a rolling Rota with some weekends. Able to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues. Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
