As a regular supply teacher for the school, you can choose to work between 1–5 days a week based on your lifestyle needs. In this role, you will inspire a love for teaching and bring the enthusiasm and energy needed to make a positive impact on children’s lives. About your role as a Supply Teacher As a Supply Teacher, you will have: • You will need to cover classes by delivering planned lessons set by the class teacher or sometimes your own lessons for unplanned sick cover. •Teach pre-prepared lessons and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of a regular teacher. •Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, managing student behaviour effectively. •Quickly adapt to different classroom settings and student needs, often with little prior notice. •Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines. •Mark students’ work and provide detailed feedback to the class teacher •Communicate effectively with other staff members, including teaching assistants and senior leadership, to ensure a smooth transition and continuity for students.
