About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Senior Technical Support Specialist with a strong problem-solving mindset, deep technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach. In this role, you will work on a mix of service desk requests, projects, and client site visits, ensuring the smooth operation and security of IT environments for our clients. You will take ownership of complex technical issues, drive efficiency in IT service delivery, and play a key role in IT infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities will include:
* Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues within the service desk, ensuring efficient resolution.
* Provide remote and onsite IT support across desktop, server, and networking environments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 issues.
* Manage Office 365 migrations, SharePoint setups, and Microsoft 365 security configurations.
* Deploy and configure Windows Servers, networking infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls), and cloud solutions.
* Perform Azure AD management, Intune configuration, and endpoint security solutions.
* Handle backup and disaster recovery planning, ensuring business continuity for clients.
* Conduct proactive system monitoring, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
* Work on service desk tickets, ensuring SLAs are met and excellent customer service is delivered.
* Provide technical guidance to end users, resolving issues effectively while maintaining strong client relationships.
* Accurately document support interactions and client environments within the ticketing system.
* Assist with IT projects, installations, upgrades, and cloud migrations as part of a wider MSP team.
What technical knowledge & experience you’ll bring to us:
* MSP experience preferred, with a background in Level 2/3 service desk support.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows Desktop (10/11) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
* Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and network fundamentals.
* Hands-on experience with Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) and Azure AD.
* Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi solutions.
* Experience with backup & disaster recovery solutions.
* Strong customer service and communication skills, with a consultative approach.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and take ownership of issues.
* Certifications such as MCP, MS-102, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are an advantage.
