Control Systems Engineer / Manufacturing (Process) / Staff / £55k + benefits / Cumbria
A true pioneer in polymer chemical manufacturing, this role's main function is to support and head up PLC (Control Systems) projects for a process manufacturing site based in Cumbria.
You will be the main point of contact for PLC coding for upgrade projects and will have the opportunity to travel to various worldwide locations for other projects and FATs.
With sustainability at the forefront, this business has pioneered the recycling of their polymer products for over 15 years and has achieved global recognition for cuts to carbon emissions during the production process, winning multiple awards.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who can code PLCs from scratch. The client has Siemens and Beckhoff automation systems on site but is open to candidates with any PLC programming background, including Ladder Logic or Tech-Space coding. Experience in Atex areas is a plus, but candidates from any manufacturing or heavy industry background are encouraged to apply.
