As our team has grown and exciting projects have landed, we have opportunities for a Senior Revit Technician to become a member of our friendly, supportive, and creative team of Technicians to support the electrical engineering team.
What you will do
* Responsible for generating high quality, accurate and coordinated Building Services Electrical 3D models and engineering design drawings.
* Develop Building Information Modeling (BIM) building services design deliverables, working within a multi-disciplinary design team.
* Take responsibility for the quality and completeness of all drawn and modeled information for projects under their remit.
* Work collaboratively with other BIM technicians and engineers.
* Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior staff, and the continual improvement of the BIM delivery processes within the department.
* Promote and develop the use of BIM within the department.
* Be responsible for the production of schematic, general arrangement and detailed drawings in Revit/CAD in accordance with the relevant standards and procedures.
* Be responsible for carrying out clash detections of the Revit model and producing solutions to any clashes found.
* Ensure quality of delivery when producing or updating drawings to internal and/or customer standards.
* Work closely with other members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient and buildable solutions.
About You
* High level of proficiency in the use of Autodesk REVIT/AutoCAD.
* Ability to carry out clash detections using Autodesk Navisworks/Revizto.
* Significant experience of delivering projects in at least one sector that BakerHicks operates in.
* Ability to produce 2D & 3D Building Services design deliverables from concept through to fully coordinated detailed design.
* A keen eye for the detail of specific tasks, combined with an understanding of how such specifics fit in with the project as a whole.
